How do you remove mildew?

Mix 1 gallon water, 1 cup ammonia, 1/2 cup vinegar and 1/4 cup baking soda to create a mildew remover for patio furniture, painted outdoor surfaces and picnic tables. Create a mixture of 1 gallon water and 2 tablespoons ammonia to remove mildew from wicker furniture. Rinse and towel dry.

Remove mildew from bathroom surfaces with a bottle of 3 percent hydrogen peroxide. Pour this on the area and wipe it clean. You can use white vinegar to remove mildew stains from clothing, plastic curtains and furniture. If the blemish is minor, dilute the vinegar with half water before use. When using these products, select a well-ventilated area and use gloves.
