How do you remove Super Glue from your fingers?

Removing Super Glue or similar cyanoacrylate adhesives from fingers begins with a good soak in warm, soapy water. After prying fingers apart, remove the remaining dried-on glue with either water or nail polish remover.
- Soak the fingers
Immerse the affected fingers in warm, soapy water. This loosens the bond between the skin and the glue.
- Pry the fingers apart
If the Super Glue is sticking the fingers together, gently use a tool to pry them apart. Try using a credit card, a spoon, a pencil or a spatula to get between fingers and disengage them.
- Remove the cured glue
Once the fingers have been separated, there will still be some dry Super Glue left on the skin. Try soaking it in warm, soapy water, then rub off any residue. If residue persists, dab it with a cotton swab soaked in a small amount of acetone-based nail polish remover.
