To replace a blade on a Delta miter saw, unscrew the guards from the saw and then use a wrench to unscrew the bolt holding the blade while holding the bolt in place on the other side with an Allen wrench. Remove the old blade and screw in the bolt around the new blade.

Use the following steps to replace a blade on a Delta miter saw.

  1. Remove the guards around the blade.

    2. Remove the screws around the plastic guards that sit in front of the blade.

  2. Unscrew the bolt that holds the blade.

    3. Hold the bolt in place on one side with an Allen wrench, and unscrew the bolt on the other side with a wrench.

  3. Insert the new blade and put the saw back together.

    4. After removing the old blade, insert the new blade and then fasten the bolt and guards back into place.
