All of these tools have drop-down menus and fillable search fields to insert information about the pill. The WebMD tool asks for shape, color, and any imprint or writing on the pill. The National Library of Medicine's tool has additional search options such as scoring on the pill, size and active ingredients. It is not necessary to fill every search field, but more information yields better results. The tools show pictures and names of possible matches.
