The restoration of an antique cast iron wood stove begins with a complete disassembling of the piece. Each piece is then placed inside a sandblasting pit that removes accumulated dirt and rust from its surface. After this process is completed, the restoration company can begin the process of re-assembling and re-painting the cast iron stove.
