How do you return an item to Best Buy?

Customers can return most items for a full refund from Best Buy by bringing the items back to a Best Buy location within 15 days of purchase. All packaging, included accessories, proof of purchase and a valid ID must accompany returns. Mobile phones and carrier-connectible devices have 14-day return periods.

Customers that join the My Best Buy program build points by purchasing items at Best Buy. When these points build up, users can reach and Elite or Elite Plus status, which extends the return time period to 30 and 45 days respectively. Online purchases are returnable to any Best Buy store or by mail. However, customers who mail returns receive store credit only.
