Are reviews of Rogers internet service generally positive?

Rogers Communications has mixed reviews for internet service. As one of the largest Canadian internet service providers, it receives high marks for speed and coverage. Among the criticisms of Rogers Communications is its monopoly in certain service areas. Residential customers also question the connection speed.

PCMag gave Rogers Communications its highest score among Canadian broadband providers in its inaugural survey of business consumers in 2013. On the other hand, Huffington Post ranked Rogers Communications and its flanker brand Fido as being among the worst Canadian providers with regard to privacy. In 2015, Rogers Communications introduced a new lineup of internet packages, Ignite, to reflect the changing trends in internet usage, particularly with online viewing of movies and television.
