How do revolutionaries define truth?

The way that revolutionaries define truth depends on the type of revolutionary, but most view truth as the doctrine that will change the society and culture to the way that it should be. The truth is subjective to revolutionaries and each group has a different focus, with the American revolutionaries focusing on science and logic in their definition of truth.

Revolutionary thinking began when people felt that it was impossible to live according to the rulers in power at the time, such as in the buildup to the American Revolution of 1775 to 1783 where people were thought to start questioning the status quo before 1700. These people wanted to live according to different rules that were fair, and therefore pushed forward in the name of "truth."
