To find roadside rest area locations, travelers can visit InterstateRestAreas.com or use the "USA Rest Stops" app for smartphones. Both of these methods require access to the Internet.

On InterstateRestAreas.com, travelers select the interstate that they are using. The traveler then sees a list of rest areas available in each state that the highway travels through and the mile markers for the rest area in both directions. This list includes welcome centers and turnouts as well.

The "USA Rest Stops" app offers travelers the chance to find rest stops in various states or view a map of their route with rest areas highlighted. There is also a Near Me feature to easily find the closest rest area.
