The Mid-Atlantic Sports Channel fired Rob Dibble from "The Dan Patrick Show" in August 2010 for criticizing Washington Nationals pitcher, Stephen Strasburg for missing a start. Strasburg was nursing an elbow injury at the time.

After his comments on Strasburg, Rob Dibble took a few days off and MASN announced on September 1, 2010 that he would no longer be a part of "The Dan Patrick Show". This led to Dibble issuing an apology on radio. Dibble is a former Major League Baseball pitcher who, after seven years of playing on multiple teams, took to being a television baseball analyst. He worked with ESPN, Fox Sports and MASN, in addition to working on radio talk shows in the same role.
