The Rodan and Fields pyramid refers to the compensation plan of the skin care company that uses the direct selling channel to market and distribute its products. The pyramid is a projection of the path that consultants follow from their beginning as retail customers to becoming executive consultants.

The company rewards its consultants through retail profits, personal team commissions, performance bonuses, consultant commissions and generation commissions. Rodan and Fields was founded by two leading dermatologists: Dr. Katie Rodan and Dr. Kathy Fields.
