Roku is available in Canada. Canadian users have the choice of the Roku 2XD for CAD priced at $89.99, or the Roku 2 XS for CAD priced at $109.99, as of April 2015.

Roku is a streaming player that offers users hundreds of free television channels as well as many subscription-based services such as Netflix. The device requires a high speed Internet connection with a speed of at least 1.5 megabytes per second. Aside from streaming movies, with the free Roku app users can beam photos, music or videos directly from their mobile devices to the TV screen. Games are also availbale on the Roku but require the use of the enhanced game remote.
