What are role-playing scripts?
By Forinfos - 13/10/2025 - 0 comments
Role-playing scripts are scripts used during role-playing activities, usually in an educational or therapeutic setting, to improve social skills. This is sometimes referred to as script-based symbolic play or script-based sociodramatic play.
Role-playing helps children learn social skills and how to handle difficult situations, such as bullying. Children who have communication issues, such as autism and ADHD, benefit from a role-playing script by practicing common social interactions and acting out how to respond appropriately. Scripts are used by teachers who direct younger students or the illiterate, or they are used by the entire class and read while acting out the situations.
