What is an S-curl texturizer?

A texturizer is a chemical process that permanently modifies the state of hair. An S-Curl texturizer is a chemical by Luster that manipulates the natural texture or hair pattern to create a loose coil or wave. Luster’s S-Curl texturizer comes in a regular-strength kit and an extra-strength kit.

Luster’s S-Curl texturizer should not be used on dyed or bleached hair, and it should be applied to unwashed hair. Most texturizers take from five to 10 minutes to develop. It is different from a relaxer because it does not completely straighten the hair. Using this product incorrectly can lead to hair damage or loss.
