Where is the next Cricket World Cup being held?

The 2015 Cricket World Cup is being held in Australia and New Zealand. The two countries are jointly sponsoring the event, something they also did for the 1992 tournament.

The Cricket World Cup takes place every four years and was held in 2011 in Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. The 2011 tournament was won by India.

There are 14 teams competing in the 2015 Cricket World Cup. Nearly one-fifth of the world's population will be engaged in the tournament, and the television viewing audience is expected to include more than 1 billion people. The event is expected to draw more than 400 accredited cricket players and officials.
