How does safflower oil reduce belly fat?

By Forinfos - 23/02/2026 - 0 comments

There is insufficient evidence that safflower oil reduces belly fat. Safflower oil has not been shown to lower triglyceride fat levels. Triglycerides are the main form of fat in the body, and excess triglycerides are often stored in the hips or belly, according to WebMD.

Safflower oil, taken as a dietary supplement or substitute for other oils in the diet, possibly lowers levels of low-density lipoprotein, commonly referred to as bad cholesterol. However, safflower oil does not seem to raise levels of high-density lipoprotein, or good cholesterol. There is a lack of evidence for the effective use of safflower oils to treat other conditions, reports WebMD.
