However, the price difference varies depending on what devices are under comparison.

Apple and Samsung phone prices also depend on the carrier. In this case, the prices for the latest iPhone and Samsung Galaxy phone are frequently the same. For example, the base model of the iPhone 6 from AT&T costs $199.99 with a new contract, as does the base model of the Samsung Galaxy S6.
