Who sat in the pole position at Daytona in 2015?

Jeff Gordon of Hendrick Motorsports won the pole position for the 2015 Daytona 500. It was the fourth time Gordon won the Daytona pole and 78th overall pole position in his NASCAR career.

The winner of the Feb. 22 NASCAR race was Joey Logano, who races for Team Penske. Logano won as the race ended under caution flags that extended the race to 203 laps, three more than was scheduled.

Gordon, with 87 laps, was the leader for the most laps in the race.

The 2015 Daytona race was Gordon's 23rd and final appearance at the Florida track. He announced his retirement from full-year competition at the end of the 2014 NASCAR season.
