The Comsewogue School District includes six schools: Clinton Avenue Elementary School, Norwood Avenue Elementary School, Boyle Road Elementary School, Terryville Road Elementary School, John F. Kennedy Middle School, and Comsewogue High School. The Comsewogue school district is located in Port Jefferson station, New York.

The Comsewogue School District curriculum is in line with the New York State Common Core Learning Standards. The district's Instructional Technology department helps integrate technology into the curriculum. It offers resources such as Chromebooks in the classroom, Google Apps for Education, Smartboards and the Student Technology Specialist program.

The Facilities department is responsible for the operation of the district’s six campuses. It also performs field maintenance for the district’s athletic groups and maintenance and inspection of all district playgrounds and equipment. The district’s Food Service features school meals that comply with federal nutrition standards, as mentioned in the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act.

The registration process for a child into the Comsewogue School District requires registration forms that are available from the website and district office. The requirements for registration include the child’s birth certificate, last report card, immunization record and a proof of residence. Comsewogue has a seven-member Board of Education. The board sets school policies, approves the appointment of personnel and decides the courses of studies.
