What are some schools for dental hygienists?

Some schools that offer a dental hygiene program include Fresno City College in Fresno, California, Austin Community College in Austin, Texas and the New York City College of Technology in Brooklyn, New York. Program requirements vary by school, but all three schools are accredited by the Commission of Dental Accreditation.

As of June 2015, Fresno City College offers an Associate Degree in Science with a major in dental hygiene, but it has submitted a proposal to offer a Bachelor of Science with a major in dental hygiene as well. Austin Community College and the New York City College of Technology both offer an Associate Degree with a major in dental hygiene.
