James 5:14, Matthew 9:22 and Revelation 21:4 are some Bible verses that discuss healing. Exodus 15:26, 3 John 1:2 and 1 Peter 2:24 are other scriptures that talk about healing. Depending on the context, healing in the Bible can take either a physical or a spiritual meaning.

James 5:14 advises sick Christians to ask church elders to pray for them, presumably to seek some form of help. Matthew 9:22 describes an instance of Jesus healing a woman physically and explaining that her faith was an important factor in his decision to heal her. Revelation 21:4 predicts a future where healing is no longer required, since "there will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain."
