The seating areas shown on interior maps of the A320 Airbus differ slightly depending on the airway that owns the jet. For example, United seat maps show first class, economy, and economy plus (also called premium economy), while US Airways seat maps only show first class and coach.

Regardless of what the airlines choose to name their seating sections, the dimensions of the A320 Airbus are very similar across the airline industry. The first class seating section has a pitch of about 39 inches and a width of 20.5 inches, whereas economy has a pitch of about 30 inches and a width of 17.7 inches.
