Does the Second Amendment include any wording about guns for self-defense?

The second amendment to the US Constitution does not include any specific wording concerning guns for self defense. The amendment states " A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed".

Despite not having specific wording regarding self defense, current interpretation of the second amendment by the US Supreme Court, as of 2015, states that there is an implied right to firearm ownership for self defense. In DC V. Heller the court ruled that the amendment conferred an individual, rather than state, right to firearms ownership. This ownership includes all legal usage of aforementioned firearms.
