What are sedum seeds?

Sedum seeds are used to grow a perennial that has thick leaves and clustering blooms. Sedums are available in hundreds of species ranging from small ground-cover plants to taller ornamental bushes. Available sedum colors include pink, red, white and yellow, and they bloom from the spring through the fall.

Sedums that grow only a few inches tall frequently are used as border plants in a garden bed. Depending on the variety, the plants thrive in USDA hardiness zones 3 through 9. The plants easily spread over time, and they should be divided in the spring. Sedums require full sun, and they attract butterflies.
