Beckett Grading Services offers grading services that cater specifically to various types of sports and hobby cards, such as basketball, baseball, MMA, Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh cards. Beckett Grading Services are able to grade and authenticate any cards that are sent to them, thereby potentially increasing its secondary market value.

BGS' grading services also includes a unique cardholder that provides protection for each card. Once cards have been graded through the BGS system, it becomes effectively tamper-proof. The organization uses a 10-point grading cycle and provides grades to cards on one-half point increments. Cards that receive a grade of between 9.5 to 10 are identified by a gold label on their BSG-provided cardholder.
