What is SGI Salvage?

SGI Salvage is an automobile recycling company in Canada. The salvage department is only one branch of the Saskatchewan Government Insurance business.
Formed in 1947, SGI Salvage's mission is to implement new ways to create a healthier environment while disposing of automobiles and their components. In 2014 alone, SGI Salvage recycled more than 7 million pounds of steel, 3,400 tires and 95,000 liters of oil and other automotive fluids. SGI Salvage also recycled 1,400 pounds of Freon and 300 grams of mercury. SGI Salvage also cleaned and inspected 100,000 parts for resale during the year.
