Are there sharks in "Grand Theft Auto 5"?

When playing the video game "Grand Theft Auto 5" offline, sharks are rare but can be encountered while swimming or diving in open water. Unlike in previous Grand Theft Auto games, the sharks are now able to attack and kill a character if he or she is spotted.

Both "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City" and "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" also had sharks programmed into the game. "Grand Theft Auto 5" is the first game where the sharks interact with the characters and can cause damage. The sharks are extremely rare in the game, and getting killed by one of them unlocks a trophy or achievement called Out of Your Depth.
