There are shipping discounts available with AAFES online shopping, however these discounts are tied to the specific purchase, as of March 2015. For example, customers can receive free shipping on any order that totals at least $49. Free shipping is also available for orders of MCSS items.

Orders that are being shipped to a deployed area also qualify for free shipping. Customers that are paying for their order with the MILITARYSTAR Card also receive free shipping on their orders. Shipping discounts with AAFES went into effect on January 20, 2004. The rate for shipping on orders that do not meet these qualifications is $4.95.
