When should you hang a wreath on your front door?

Wreaths are hung on front doors at various times during the year to symbolize hospitality, autumn harvest, mourning or simply as decoration. Most often, a wreath is hung on the front door at Christmastime, which generally starts in late November to coincide with the Advent season.
Christmas wreaths often remain on front doors until the end of the Christmas season, usually early January, coinciding with the Twelfth Night.
The Christmas wreath has symbolic meanings. The unbroken circle with no beginning and no end signifies eternity. For Christians, the holly and berries of a traditional wreath honor the crown of thorns worn by Jesus Christ upon His crucifixion.
