How often should a Norelco electric shaver be lubricated?

Phillips Norelco recommends cleaning and lubricating electric shavers with its lubricating cleaning spray at least once a week. The alcohol-based spray cleanses the shaving heads, leaving behind lubricating components and a fresh scent.

To clean and lubricate an electric shaver, the user should turn off and unplug the unit, and spray the shaving heads with cleanser from a short distance. The user should then allow the unit to dry before resuming use. Regular maintenance keeps electric shavers functioning properly, extends the life of the shaving heads and delivers a closer, cleaner shave.

As of September 2015, Norelco's shaving heads cleaning spray is available at retailers such as Frys.com and Drugstore.com.
