Should synthetic oil be used on a Mercedes?
By Forinfos - 13/03/2025 - 0 comments
Synthetic oils are required in modern Mercedes-Benz automobiles. The auto manufacturer has an approved list of synthetic oils for use in vehicles made since 1997. Some of the approved oils include Mobil 1 Tri-Synthetic Formula, Valvoline Synpower Full Synthetic Motor Oil and Quaker State Full Synthetic European Formula.
Many Mercedes-Benz vehicles can use conventional oil, but the vehicles are built with synthetic oil use in mind, so synthetic is preferred. This is necessary because of the way modern Mercedes are built. Performing at a higher level, these vehicles require the higher level of protection and efficiency that synthetic oils provide.
