What should the water temperature be in an aquarium?
By Forinfos - 25/03/2026 - 0 comments
The right water temperature in an aquarium depends on the species of fish inside the aquarium. For instance, the water for tropical fish should be between 75 and 80 degrees F, while the water temperature for cold water fish should be well below 70 degrees F.
Besides the type of fish, water temperature in an aquarium may need adjustment depending on tank location, lighting inside and around the tank, and the amount of fish inside a tank. In addition, most fish require different water temperatures when breeding; depending on the type of fish, the water temperature may need to be higher or lower for breeding purposes.
