What is the show "Mountain Men" about?

The television show the "Mountain Men" follows the lives of Eustace Conway, Marty Meierotto and Tom Oar as they attempt to live off the grid and in the simplest way possible. The show follows the men as they struggle to find food and survive in harsh weather conditions.

The show follows the men to such locations as the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina, the Yaak River in Montana and the untamed wilderness of Alaska. Each episode shows the challenges involved in facing Mother Nature, including wild animals and mudslides. Each man must find enough food and supplies to make it through the coldest of the winter months.
