How is shower gel used?

Shower gel is used by first mixing it with water on a loofah, sponge or washcloth to create a thick lather, which can then be applied all over the body. Shower gel should be rinsed away with warm water, which avoids any skin irritation after bathing.

Shower gel works in the same way that traditional bar soap does, but it provides extra moisture for those who may have dry skin.

A person should avoid applying shower gel to the face as it is not pH-balanced and may cause breakouts. Shower gel should not be used in the hair because hair will lose its moisture.
