Shutterfly generally offers a couple of promo codes to its customers directly on its homepage, with further codes available under the Special Offers tab. Examples of past discounts include free shipping on orders over $39, 30 percent off of a purchase, 20 percent off of particular merchandise and free samples.

Alternatively, large discount sites such as RetailMeNot also offer coupon codes for Shutterfly products. While these sites may feature promotions that Shutterfly does not, the codes may be expired, be limited to one use only or become otherwise invalidated. A code or sale on the discount site may also be available from Shutterfly itself, in which case no exclusive or additional discount should be expected.
