Where is sidecarcross popular?

Sidecarcross is particularly popular in European countries such as Great Britain, Belgium, Holland, Germany and France, though it does have a presence in the United States and Australia. This form of motocross differs from standard motocross in that its participants use motorbikes with attached sidecars, meaning each vehicle carries two people instead of one.

Sidecarcross has its own world championship, which has been held since 1980. After the 2014 season, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, the United Kingdom and France had the most participants in the event. A total of 56 teams from various European countries competed in the 2014 competition.
