Who signed the Mayflower Compact?

The Mayflower Compact was signed on November 11, 1620 by the 41 colonists who came over to Cape Cod on the Mayflower from England. The Mayflower Compact was a document that outlined the blueprint of the initial government at Cape Cod and then at Plymouth when the group decided to sail upward to a new area.

The document was necessary because the colonists were composed of non-separatist Pilgrims and Puritans who often disagreed with one another's views. The Mayflower Compact was created to ensure that the two groups could live together peacefully. The Mayflower Compact is also thought to have greatly influenced the writers of the Declaration of Independence, as reported by Plimoth Plantation.
