Simple cures for sweaty palms include antiperspirants, Botox injections and iontophoresis, says the International Hyperhidrosis Society. If the cures are not effective, endoscopic thoracic sympathectomy may be the last resort.

Applying antiperspirants on the palms is a common remedy. Antiperspirants vary in strength, and a patient should aim to minimize irritation and maximize the product's effectiveness. Apply the antiperspirant on dry skin before going to bed, and avoid covering the palms. Iontophoresis treatment involves utilizing a device that uses water to conduct an electric current through the skin's surface, thus thickening the outer skin that blocks perspiration, reports the International Hyperhidrosis Society.

Doctors can inject Botox into the palms, and the effects may last up to six months. The injections are, however, painful to some patients. Endoscopic thoracic sympathectomy should be used only in extreme circumstances as it poses serious side effects such as compensatory sweating, notes the International Hyperhidrosis Society.
