A simpler recipe for deviled eggs using mustard includes scooping the yolk out of a boiled egg, adding salt, pepper, white vinegar, mayonnaise, paprika and mustard. Making deviled eggs is considered easy, according to a recipe found on the Food Network website.
Classic Deviled Eggs
The deviled egg recipe below uses six eggs, which makes enough for four people to enjoy three eggs. The deviled eggs make great appetizers for any occasion.

Ingredients:
- 6 eggs
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tsp. white vinegar
- 1 tsp. yellow mustard
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- Ground pepper to taste
- Paprika for garnish
- Boil the eggs

Place eggs in a large pot in a single layer. Add enough water to completely cover the eggs. Place over high heat and allow the water to come to a boil. Cover the pot and remove from heat. Allow the eggs to remain cooking off the heat for 15 minutes.
Rinse the eggs under cold water for 1 minute. Crack the eggs and remove the shells carefully to not break the egg white.
Dry the eggs on a paper towel and then cut lengthwise. Remove the yolks, placing them in a medium mixing bowl. Place the egg whites on a serving platter with the round side down.
Crumble the egg yolks with a fork until fine in the mixing bowl. Add vinegar, mustard, mayonnaise, salt and pepper and combine well.
Use a teaspoon to fill each egg with the mixture. Sprinkle with paprika and serve.
