Alta Ski Resort is located 30 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport. It offers beginner, intermediate and advanced terrain over a total area of 2,200 acres. The mountain is strictly for skiing; no snowboarding is allowed. The base of the mountain sits at an elevation of 8,530 feet, and the top of the mountain reaches an elevation of 10,550 feet. The resort offers seasonal clinics, camps and programs.
