Skin rash is not a symptom of pancreatic cancer, according to Mayo Clinic. However, itching skin is a symptom of pancreatic cancer, according to the American Cancer Society. Jaundice is another sign of pancreatic cancer.
Both itching skin and jaundice are caused by a buildup of bilirubin, according to the American Cancer Society.
Jaundice, or the yellowing of the eyes and the skin, is an important sign, for nearly all pancreatic cancer patients experience it as an early symptom, says the American Cancer Society. Other symptoms of pancreatic cancer are dark urine, clay-colored stool, pain in the abdomen or back, unexplained weight loss and loss of appetite.
