What is a slip sheet load support?

Slip sheets are used for support when transporting packaged goods. They are used instead of pallets due to their lower manufacturing and shipping costs, as well as their reduced environmental impact.

Slip sheets can enable loads that contain 12 to 15 percent more goods than heavy duty containers. Slip sheets weigh less than a pallet, save money on shipping and they are reusable and recyclable. Pallets provide more structural support as well as a bigger clearance between the floor and the goods. Slip sheets also need an attachment in order to be carried with a forklift and pallets do not.
