What is the slope intercept form?
By Forinfos - 13/12/2025 - 0 comments
The slope intercept form for a line is expressed as y = mx + b. In that equation, y is the value of the y-coordinate, x is the value of the x-coordinate, m is the value of the slope, and b is the value of the y-intercept.
The slope of the line, represented by m, is calculated as the change in y over the change in x. It is also referred to as rise over run. The y-intercept is the value of y when x is equal to zero. The equation is called slope intercept form because it includes both the slope and the y-intercept.
