Who is Smurfette?

Smurfette is a main character from the comic and television franchise, The Smurfs. She debuted in the year 1966 and was the first female character in the series.

Smurfette was originally intended to be a minor character in the series, but due to popular demand, she has grown into an active character with more involvement in the program's story lines. A sweet and compassionate smurf, she is often seen tending to flowers or animals, though she also displays intelligence by formulating plans and assisting the other villagers in survival. Smurfette favors cleanliness, takes an interest in fashion and pays particular attention to her clothes.
