As of September 2014, Brad Ausmus' wife is Liz Ausmus. The couple married in 1995. The professional baseball player and his wife have two daughters, Sophie, born March 13, 1998, and Abigail, born July 27, 1999.

Bradley David Ausmus was born in New Haven, Conn., on April 14, 1969, to parents Linda and Harry Ausmus. He played major league baseball from 1993 to 2010 for the San Diego Padres, Detroit Tigers, Houston Astros and Los Angeles Dodgers. As of 2014, he is the manager of the Detroit Tigers. Ausmus won the Gold Glove Award three times, in 2001, 2002 and 2006. He was an All Star in 1999.
