The Atlantic coast seasons for snook in Florida run from Dec.1 to Jan. 31 and from June 1 to Aug. 31, as of 2015. On the Gulf of Mexico, side anglers can fish for snook from Dec. 1 to the last day of February and May 1 to Aug. 31.
The Gulf of Mexico season dates also apply to Monroe County and the Everglades National Park. The slot limit for keeping an Atlantic snook is for the fish to be no smaller than 28 inches and no larger than 32 inches in total length. The Gulf of Mexico and areas with the same season have a 28-inch to 33-inch slot limit.
