How do I solve "Petals Around the Rose"?

The solution to the "Petals Around the Rose" is to simply count the petals that appear on the three and five faces of the dice, if such faces show. These petals are the dots that surround the center dot, or rose, which itself isn't counted towards the score.
The two, four and six faces of the dice have no center dot, which means they are not considered as roses, and don't count toward the score. The one face only has one dot and therefore has no petals. Every time the five dice are rolled, the score is expected to be either zero or an even number. The highest score is 20, which only occurs if all five dice roll the five face.
