Are there specific foods for teacup kittens?

There are no specific foods made, or needed, for teacup kittens. Teacup and standard-sized kittens have the same nutritional requirements. However, wet kitten food is preferred over dry food for teacup kittens.
Teacup kittens come from the selective breeding of the smallest individual kittens found in a standard cat breed or breeds. The kittens need a high-quality kitten food until they are a year old. However, since they may have smaller teeth, throats and intestines than an average kitten, it is recommended that they be fed a ground wet food to make sure they do not struggle chewing, swallowing or digesting their food.
