What companies sponsor the NBA?

There is no one single company that sponsors the National Basketball Association; however, there are many companies that extend sponsorships to the individual teams in the league. For example, Anheuser-Busch InBev, the manufacturer of Budweiser and Bud Light beers, among others, has sponsorship deals with 84 percent of NBA teams.

Other primary corporate team sponsors in the NBA include State Farm, Gatorade, MillerCoors, Adidas, Coca-Cola and Spalding, all of which sponsor at least half of the teams in the league, going into the 2014-15 NBA season. These sponsorships take different forms, such as banners, commercials on arena video screens and branding in the form of shoes, chairs or other items. NBA Commissioner Adam Silver expects that players' uniforms will one day feature company logos, similar to that of race car drivers and European soccer players.
