After much anticipation, Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao fought the "Fight of the Century" on May 2, 2015. Mayweather defeated Pacquiao by unanimous decision.

The fight between the two boxing superstars was hotly anticipated and expected to be one of the highest-grossing fights of all time. Tentative attempts have been made to arrange a fight between the two since 2009 but have fallen apart for various reasons, with negotiations breaking down into a defamation case in 2012.

Floyd Mayweather remains undefeated as of May 2015 with 48-0 record.
